About The Position

As an Associate Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in Automated Logic’s (ALC) success by designing custom building automation systems tailored to our customers' unique needs. We are seeking a collaborative team player with exceptional problem-solving, time-management, and multitasking abilities. In this role, you will expand your technical capabilities while taking independent ownership of smaller-scale projects.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of industry experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing or engineering, OR an Associate degree in an engineering or technical field
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or construction discipline.
Prior hands-on experience in HVAC controls, Building Automation Systems (BAS), or commercial electrical/mechanical installation.
Basic understanding of electrical schematics, control systems, or mechanical HVAC concepts.
Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Design and program building automation systems, site-specific control configurations, and control algorithms.
Adhere to project requirements, technical specifications, and company/customer standards.
Create, document, and maintain clear technical design documents and revision logs for project teams.
Develop graphical and text-based user interfaces for building automation systems.
Perform pre-implementation testing on control programming and user interfaces.
Provide technical support to sales representatives to ensure customer technical requirements are met.
Identify and communicate project opportunities, risks, and functional testing needs.
