About The Position

The Associate in the Contract Compliance Department is responsible for supporting management in the execution royalty compliance projects in a variety of industries in a fast paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Possess a professional certificate such as a CPA or CFE or be a candidate for one.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Responsibilities

  • Assist partners, senior managers, and managers with contract compliance audits of intellectual property (“IP”) licensees, and associated third parties related to a variety of licensed properties.
  • Support partners, senior managers, and managers on special projects.
  • Read and summarize license agreements (“Agreements”).
  • Reconcile revenue and expenses to determine compliance with the Agreements.
  • Manage and summarize data sets.
  • Maintain organization of electronic files and folders.
  • Follow a step by step inspection program.
  • Assist with on site and remote fieldwork.
  • Conduct Internet research.
  • Use AI-powered audit tools and analytics platforms to analyze large, complex datasets
  • Possess the ability to multi task and work on multiple projects at any given time
  • Correspond with clients and licensees
  • Assist partners, senior managers, and managers in writing reports documenting project findings.
  • Prepare detailed schedules supporting conclusions.
  • Meet deadlines and manage client expectations
  • Travel domestically and internationally based on client needs
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
  • Adhere to the requirements for continuing education as outlined in the Quality Control Manual.
  • Complete all assigned training courses within the stated timelines.
