Responsible for providing editorial support to the Editorial department in a variety of capacities. This role involves assisting with product development and long-range editorial planning, including concepting new products. The Associate Content Developer will review, edit, and approve manuscript and production stages, working directly with copyeditors, graphic designers, and photo researchers. They will also create, edit, review, and approve slide decks based on style guidelines, and track programmatic pieces such as learning outcomes, Lexile ranges, writing prompts, student supports, text types, etc. Additionally, the role includes reviewing and evaluating BEC’s new technology products, aiding in the QA of new digital products, completing time tracking documentation weekly, and creating or updating Product Library documentation and product metadata as requested. The position requires attending regularly scheduled and impromptu meetings with team members to discuss content, workflow, and product status.
