The Account Executive/Associate Consultant interacts with NFP Sports clients on a day-to-day basis while developing and maintaining relationships with both client and carrier representatives. In this role, you will assist in servicing assigned clients under the direct supervision and approval of your Supervisor. This role may require the employee to take on the role of lead consultant and primary point of contact for their assigned clients. Your legal background will be instrumental as you work with Key Contacts-senior business and legal leaders. In this role, you are not serving as an attorney or building a traditional legal practice career. The Sports & Entertainment practice is a highly specialized area of insurance and brokerage services. The work is very document-intensive, manuscripted and customized, focused on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing complex insurance-related documents and contracts, centered on advising and servicing sports clients (sports leagues, teams, and organizations, including professional and collegiate sports organizations) within a specialized insurance environment rather than traditional insurance products. We are seeking strong analytical and communication-focused candidates who can be trained from the ground up. This role is ideal for a new J.D. looking for a corporate career in insurance and brokerage services. This is a full-time position with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule from our Long Island-Plainview, NY office.
