About The Position

As an experienced Associate Consultant in the Value, Pricing, and Market Access (VPA) practice at Putnam, you will be an integral part of a cohesive engagement team, instrumental in developing the core components of each engagement. You will help identify critical issues, drive key analytical components of projects, and contribute to the ultimate strategic conclusions and client recommendations. Associate Consultants are relied upon to execute the analytical underpinnings of engagements and actively participate in developing strategic recommendations. Putnam serves industry leaders, including top global biopharmaceutical companies, with casework spanning portfolio prioritization, development pathway and resource optimization, market assessment, product pricing and launch strategies, market segment growth strategies, sales and marketing strategies, franchise development, and patent expiration strategies. The firm offers a collegial, friendly, and balanced environment, with offices in Boston, San Francisco, New York City, and London.

Requirements

  • Highly intelligent and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, robust attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Proven analytic abilities, a strong academic track record and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant consulting and US market access experience.
  • Strong competitive analysis and scenario planning skills.
  • Participation in the development of innovative strategies and plans based on a deep understanding of long-term trends, industry/category value drivers, payer, physician and patient needs, technological advances, competitive behavior, etc.
  • Strong interest and experience in life sciences.
