About The Position

Wunder is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Construction Manager to join their team. This full-time, in-office role is crucial for supporting the construction team in building commercial-scale solar projects across the country. The position involves working cross-functionally to ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and with the highest standards of quality and safety, leveraging Wunder's technology platform for efficiency and scalability. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about renewable energy and hyper-growth environments.

Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of managing projects or are a recent graduate with a solid foundation of career experience from a previous internship, part time, or full time role in Construction, Project Management, Solar Development, or a related field.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proactive in reducing risk and addressing problems before they impact project timelines or budgets.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a zero-defect approach to problem solving and deliverables.
  • Eagerness to learn about solar development and construction management.
  • Growth mindset, actively seeking new ideas and improvements.
  • Team-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Flexible and able to react quickly to changes.
  • Belief that no problem is too hard, with the ability to articulate and roll out solutions.
  • Must currently live in, or be willing to relocate to, the Boulder/Denver area.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating with EPC partners, contractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and key milestones to ensure timely delivery
  • Help identify risks and proactively escalate issues that could impact timelines, costs, or quality
  • Maintain organized project documentation, reporting, and communication across stakeholders
  • Participate in site visits and construction meetings to support on-the-ground execution
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Project Development, Development Engineering, Asset Management, and Account Management teams to ensure all teams are aligned
  • Contribute to improving internal processes, tools, and systems that drive efficiency and scalability
