Requirements

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field; or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field.

Nice To Haves

Academic or internship experience in power electronics, circuit design, signals and systems, or related electrical engineering disciplines
Familiarity with electrical test equipment or basic troubleshooting methods
Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and flexibility in tackling new technical tasks
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Demonstrated initiative, drive, and personal accountability
Clear written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while supporting team goals

Responsibilities

Perform hands‑on testing, data collection, and analysis for shipboard power electronic systems
Support instrumentation and control system compatibility and qualification testing
Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and system‑level issues under guidance from experienced engineers
Contribute to the development and refinement of data acquisition systems and PLC‑based automation
Help design and implement upgrades to test equipment and facilities
Work with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate test execution and laboratory operations
Prepare clear written and verbal documentation to support engineering decisions and stakeholder communication
