About The Position

The Associate Compensation & People Analytics Analyst will support the design, administration, and analysis of compensation programs while contributing to people analytics initiatives that inform workforce and pay decisions. This role combines traditional compensation analysis with data-driven insights related to workforce trends, equity, and organizational outcomes. The Associate Analyst will partner closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders to ensure compensation programs are competitive, compliant, and grounded in data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, Analytics or a related field required. Four years of work experience demonstrating the knowledge of laws and policies related to Human Resources Management can be used in lieu of a degree.
  • 6 months of human resources experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize quantitative data.
  • Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data validation).
  • Ability to explain data-driven insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of experience in compensation, HR analytics or a related analytical role.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, UKG, Oracle, SAP) and/or business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Exposure to compensation survey tools and market pricing methodologies.
  • Coursework or experience in statistics, data visualization, or workforce analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration of base pay, incentive, and bonus programs, including annual merit and incentive cycles.
  • Conduct job evaluations and support position description reviews to ensure appropriate job matching, leveling, and internal equity.
  • Participate in salary surveys; analyze market data and assist with developing competitive pay ranges.
  • Prepare compensation analyses for new hires, promotions, transfers, and internal equity assessments.
  • Assist with compliance efforts related to pay transparency, equal pay, and other relevant federal and state regulations.
  • Maintain compensation data integrity within HRIS and related systems; support audits and reporting needs.
  • Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc people analytics reports related to compensation, headcount, turnover, career progression, pay equity, and workforce demographics.
  • Analyze compensation and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and translate findings into clear insights for HR and leadership.
  • Create dashboards, visualizations, and summaries that communicate data insights in a clear, user-friendly way.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and other HR teams to support compensation and workforce decisions.
