About The Position

HOA Community Solutions provides professional management for homeowner associations across the Tri-Cities region of Washington. We partner with volunteer boards, homeowners, and local developers to keep communities well run, well maintained, and well informed. The Associate Community Manager (ACM) is the first line of service for every homeowner in an assigned portfolio of 11 associations (approximately 1,200 doors), with room to grow. You'll serve as the board's liaison for day-to-day operations, run compliance inspections, manage vendors and projects, and build strong relationships with the developers and builders shaping new communities in the Tri-Cities. This is a remote, home-based role with regular travel to communities and flexible scheduling.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of HOA, community association, or residential property management experience, or 2+ years in a fast-paced, multi-priority, customer-facing role
  • Ability to manage projects and deadlines across multiple associations at once
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including preparing reports and presenting to boards
  • Customer service skills, including the ability to defuse difficult situations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office
  • Residence in or near Kennewick, Pasco, or Richland, WA, with reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance
  • Dependable high-speed internet and a suitable home workspace
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend meetings

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Vantaca and/or Strongroom
  • CMCA designation or CAI coursework
  • Experience working with developers, builders, or new-construction community transitions
  • Familiarity with WA laws affecting community associations

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for homeowners, providing clear, timely updates through resolution
  • Act as liaison to boards of directors: keep boards informed, carry out board policies and resolutions, and support board recruitment and training
  • Build and maintain working relationships with local developers and builders, supporting communication, issue resolution, and community transitions
  • Conduct scheduled drive-through compliance inspections, document violations, and coordinate notices and follow-up per each association's governing documents
  • Source bids, secure vendors, and manage the RFP process for association repairs and projects
  • Assist with preparing and monitoring annual association budgets
  • Facilitate the architectural and design review and approval process
  • Plan and attend board and annual meetings, including occasional evenings and weekends
