Requirements

High School Diploma
Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field required (MSW, MFT)
At least two (2) years experience with one (1) year in a behavioral or psychiatric setting preferred.
Must have California issued associate level registration or higher.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a mental healthcare hospital environment where attention was focused on human behavior, psychiatry, psychology, or other mental healthcare situations.

Responsibilities

Counsels individuals and groups regarding psychological or emotional problems such as stress, substance abuse, mental or behavioral health issues and/or family situations.
Develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans.
Provide psychotherapeutic services to all patients and their families.
Serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team supporting the organization's treatment program and philosophy.
Assure the deliverance of quality treatment to patients and their families.
