The Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), under the clinical supervision of an experienced LCSW, will work to reduce distress and improve the mental health of underserved populations presenting with complex medical and psychosocial problems. This role involves working alongside other professionals in a multidisciplinary team to address complex patient issues. The ACSW provides social work services including assessment, short-term and crisis counseling, individualized care planning, and case coordination. They serve as a liaison between the CDU and the community to integrate services and coordinate care for clients. The position involves assessing, developing, and coordinating a clinical treatment program for patients with acute or chronic mild to medium mental health disorders. Regular consultation with the Clinical Supervisor regarding patient diagnosis, strengths, and challenges is required.
