Associate Chemist - HRMS Prep - Environment Testing - 2nd Shift, Tues-Sat
About The Position
Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries. This role involves applying GMP/GLP, performing sample preparation and analysis for various matrices and analytical methods, and reviewing supporting data. The position requires preparing standard solutions and reagents, using PC software, and disposing of chemical waste according to approved methods. All activities must be conducted in a safe and efficient manner. This is a 2nd Shift position, working Tuesday to Saturday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with initial training on Monday to Friday during the 1st shift.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other related degree concentration
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities
- Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
- Perform prep/analysis of samples of various matrices for various analytical methods
- Analyze/prep samples and QC for routine testing
- Review, work up, and assemble all supporting data for work performed
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment used for routine work
- Read, understand, and carry out SOPs required by EPA or company methods, governing agencies, clients, and our internal QC department
- Prepare standard solutions and other reagents as needed
- Use word processor and spreadsheet programs on PC
- Dispose of all chemical wastes using approved methods
- Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
