Associate Chemist - HRMS Prep - Environment Testing - 2nd Shift, Tues-Sat
About The Position
Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services. This role involves performing sample preparation and analysis for various analytical methods within the Environment Testing division. The position requires adherence to GMP/GLP standards, performing routine testing, data review, basic equipment maintenance, and preparing solutions. The role also includes handling chemical waste, conducting activities safely, and potentially working overtime. Training will be conducted on the first shift, Monday-Friday, with the regular position being second shift, Tuesday-Saturday, 3pm-11:30pm.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other related degree concentration
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities
- Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
- Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Perform prep/analysis of samples of various matrices for various analytical methods
- Analyze/prep samples and QC for routine testing
- Review, work up, and assemble all supporting data for work performed
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment used for routine work
- Read, understand, and carry out SOPs required by EPA or company methods, governing agencies, clients, and our internal QC department
- Prepare standard solutions and other reagents as needed
- Use word processor and spreadsheet programs on PC
- Dispose of all chemical wastes using approved methods
- Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Work overtime as workload requires
