The Associate Chemist will apply GMP/GLP, demonstrate company vision, and maintain regular attendance and punctuality. This position requires the ability to use a computer for accessing information, performing calculations, and preparing reports. The chemist will analyze samples independently, review, evaluate, calculate, enter, upload, and verify data according to SOPs, and perform instrument troubleshooting. Responsibilities include quantitative transfers, dilutions, understanding instrument principles, effective communication, evaluating analytical system performance, and suggesting improvements. The role also involves assisting with SOP updates, maintaining training records, and conducting all activities safely and efficiently. The Associate Chemist will prepare various analyses using approved methods and SOPs, and operate instrumentation for Instrumental Wet Chemistry, such as discrete analyzers, flow analyzers, TOC analyzers, and Ion Chromatography. Other duties may be assigned. The position is for the 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday. Training will be on the 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, with potential flexibility.
