About The Position

The Associate Chemist will apply GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, demonstrate and promote the company vision, and maintain regular attendance and punctuality. The position requires the ability to use a computer for accessing information, performing complex mathematical calculations, and preparing reports. The chemist will analyze samples independently, review, evaluate, calculate, enter, upload, and verify data as required, and document data following SOPs. Responsibilities also include performing instrument troubleshooting, quantitative transfers and dilutions, understanding the principles of instruments used, and effective communication with coworkers. The role involves evaluating current analytical system performance and suggesting/implementing improvements, assisting with updating SOPs for compliance, and keeping individual training records updated. All activities must be conducted in a safe and efficient manner. The chemist will prepare various analyses using approved methods and SOPs and run instrumentation associated with Instrumental Wet Chemistry, including discrete analyzers, flow analyzers, TOC analyzers, and Ion Chromatography. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field; or equivalent experience or two years (or more) of directly related industry experience.
  • Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
