About The Position

The Associate Business Systems Analyst serves as the liaison between the business community and the technical development team(s) who support the systems the community uses. This person is responsible for ensuring that business needs, related to those systems, are clearly understood, documented and met. The Associate Business Systems Analyst will work closely with business system users, subject matter experts and technical resources to support business requirement efforts, document functional requirements and design specifications and support development and testing efforts.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree relevant to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • In lieu of a degree, 4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 4 years may be considered.
  • All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Currently, SRP does not sponsor H1B visas, OPT, or other employment-related visa's.

Responsibilities

  • Elicits, analyzes, specifies, and validates the business needs of stakeholders.
  • Creates documentation ensuring that the requirements and design are complete, consistent, concise, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable.
  • Conducts internal and external research to gain a better understanding of the project’s subject area.
  • Conducts meetings and presentations to all levels of stakeholders to share ideas and findings and to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted
  • Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
  • Researches, reviews, and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
