About The Position

We are seeking an Associate Broker to join our Broking team at our Jericho, NY location. This role involves supporting lead brokers in managing placements, preparing underwriting submissions, and responding to underwriter inquiries. The Associate Broker will also assist in identifying client risk exposures, recommending insurance solutions, and collaborating with various internal teams to ensure optimal coverage and client satisfaction. The position requires technical expertise in coverage analysis and a collaborative approach to problem-solving within the construction risk management sector.

Requirements

• Builders Risk & Property Placement Support
• Prepare, review, and deliver accurate underwriting submissions.
• Provide timely responses to underwriter inquiries and assist with evaluating coverage quotes.
• Support negotiations with underwriters to help secure optimal terms and fair compensation for the company.
• Client Engagement & Risk Advisory
• Assist in identifying client risk exposures and recommending suitable insurance solutions and complementary AG services.
• Support Account Executives during pre-renewal strategy meetings for complex accounts.
• Help maintain and strengthen relationships with key client stakeholders.
• Participate in presenting coverage solutions in a clear and professional manner.
• Technical Expertise & Collaboration
• Conduct coverage analysis, including policy forms, endorsements, exclusions, and manuscript wording, with guidance from senior team members.
• Collaborate with AG Claims and coverage counsel on complex claim-related issues when needed.
• Partner with the Project Risk Solutions team to support placement of Wrap-Up and project-specific programs.
• Assist local Insurance teams by contributing to stewardship reports for accounts involving property lines you support.

Responsibilities
