Associate, BizOps & Analytics
About The Position
Jerry.ai is seeking Associate, BizOps & Analytics to join their central BizOps & Analytics team. This role will be embedded in one of Jerry's core business areas (growth, product, AI and automation, strategic partnerships) and will own the analytical function for that business unit end-to-end. The BizOps & Analytics team acts as a force multiplier, driving data insights and informing decision-making across all aspects of the business. The team is composed of former top-tier consultants who tackle complex problems and drive key initiatives in product, growth, tech, and operations. The goal is to scale the company from 5 million to 50 million customers and become a $10 billion business within the next four years. This role is hands-on, involving not just analysis but also execution, driving decisions, and seeing them through to completion.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to pull, structure, and interpret data independently.
- Track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering impact.
- Clear, persuasive communicator who can influence decisions at the leadership level.
- First principles thinker: Breaks ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses before touching data.
- Analytically strong (comfortable with Excel, SQL or Python).
- Direct communicator: Can walk a skeptical stakeholder through a complex finding and get buy-in quickly.
- Owner: Acts like their name is on the door, feeling responsible for fixing issues even if outside their direct scope.
Responsibilities
- Define the right problems: Understand the business question an analysis will answer and the decision it will inform, pushing back if the question is flawed.
- Data and insights: Define metrics, build reports, run analyses, design experiments, and surface data insights that move key metrics.
- Drive outcomes: Bring recommendations to counterparts in product, growth, finance, or operations, explaining findings and suggesting next steps.
