About The Position
As an Associate Banker at Chase, you represent the brand and culture by combining hospitality, banking solutions, financial technology, and attentive service. You contribute to branch success by delivering exceptional client experiences, building trusted relationships, sharing product knowledge, and helping clients pursue their financial goals. This position is part-time, scheduled for 30 hours, at the Foothill and Citrus Branch in Fontana, California. The role involves welcoming clients, managing lobby flow and appointments, servicing accounts and opening new ones, helping clients with everyday banking and digital self-service options, and carrying out branch operations. The position must comply with applicable bank policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and banking requirements. Employment is contingent on JPMorganChase’s review of criminal conviction history under Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, including pretrial diversions or program entries.

Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and provide attentive, friendly service; use a tablet to manage lobby traffic, check clients into the waiting queue, and schedule or cancel meetings.
- Provide account servicing and maintenance and open new accounts in compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory and banking requirements.
- Educate and assist clients with day-to-day banking transactions and technology self-service options, including the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs.
- Build client relationships by listening actively, asking thoughtful questions, demonstrating empathy, sharing product knowledge and solutions, and partnering with branch team members to support clients’ financial goals.
- Perform branch operations, which may include managing cash devices such as the cash vault and ATM, while adhering to bank policies and procedures.
