About The Position

Robertson, Anschutz, Schneid, Crane & Partners, PLLC is a national law firm seeking an Associate Foreclosure Attorney. Requirements

  • Admission to the Illinois State Bar
  • Intermediate to advanced-level computer proficiency (including Microsoft Office products)

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in all stages of the foreclosure process, including contested foreclosures
  • Comprehensive review of all conditions precedent to filing of the action, including review of loan documents, financials, and demand letters
  • Draft and review legal documents, pleadings and correspondence to initiate and maintain foreclosure actions
  • Research and analysis of applicable statutes, case law, regulatory, and servicing requirements
  • Legal research and writing
  • Attend court hearings and communicate with opposing counsel
  • Ensure all internal client systems are reviewed and updated to include findings, documentation, and recommendations
  • Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Prioritize and perform a high volume of work to meet firm, client, investor, and court deadlines
  • Utilize firm and client systems to ensure all applicable deadlines are met
  • Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements, as applicable
