About The Position

Our growing New Jersey team is looking for an Associate Attorney who wants substantive litigation experience, thoughtful mentorship, and increasing responsibility as their skills and judgment develop. Our attorneys handle complex, high exposure matters, including multimillion dollar losses, professional liability, medical malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and other significant civil defense litigation. This is an opportunity to develop your skills on sophisticated matters where strategy and preparation matter. You will gain experience with discovery, depositions, substantive motion practice, expert work, case evaluation, client communication, mediation, witness preparation, and trial preparation. As you demonstrate your capabilities, you will have opportunities to take greater ownership of your matters and become increasingly involved in case strategy and client relationships. We want you to understand not only what needs to be done, but why it matters and what should happen next. Tyson & Mendes continues to invest in AI enabled legal tools, advanced research resources, modern case management technology, and systems designed to help attorneys work more effectively. You will also have access to our APEX methodology, Trial Academy, and nationally recognized approach to Stopping Nuclear Verdicts®. These tools and frameworks complement the practical experience you gain on your cases and give you additional ways to think strategically about litigation. Our New Jersey attorneys have flexibility to work remotely while remaining connected to their colleagues and leadership. As you grow, there may be times when working together in person provides the best learning opportunity, and we want associates who see the value in that connection. We will give you sophisticated cases, experienced mentors, modern resources, meaningful responsibility, and room to grow into the litigator you want to become. Join Danielle DeGeorgio and the Tyson & Mendes New Jersey team and build what comes next in your litigation career.
