About The Position

Mandarich Law Group is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Kennesaw, Georgia office. The firm is a creditor’s rights law firm with offices in California, Nevada, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Georgia, and Florida. The Associate Attorney handles legal pleadings and documents, litigation motions and responses, communications related to resolving accounts and lawsuits, and court coverage arrangements. The role may require travel and court appearances.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia.
• Comfortable appearing in court and able to arrive on time consistently using the candidate’s own method of transportation.
• Able to travel when required.
• Strong multitasking ability and strong verbal and written communication skills for a high-volume caseload.
• Microsoft Office skills.

Nice To Haves

• Additional licensure in South Carolina, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, New York, Nevada, Nebraska, Idaho, California, Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Hawaii, or North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review summons and complaints, judgments, settlement agreements, discovery, and other related documentation.
• Draft, review, and file litigation motions and responses as necessary during litigation.
• Communicate with attorneys, employers, and consumers as necessary to resolve accounts and lawsuits.
• Review new and ongoing lawsuits, legal pleadings, and documents.
• Review court calls and request coverage when the Associate will not appear, attaching necessary documents for the covering attorney and any orders needed for the requested coverage results.
• Appear in court as required.
