Associate Attorney – Workers’ Compensation (New Jersey)

We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our Workers’ Compensation team in our New Jersey office located in Jersey City. In this role, you will represent insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers before the Workers’ Compensation Courts. You will manage your own caseload while developing and executing effective litigation strategies. This role is primarily remote, with the option to work from the office as needed and attend court appearances when required.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New Jersey State Bar
- Experience in NJ workers compensation law
- 3+ years’ experience in a law firm setting
- Ability to manage cases from start to finish
- Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills

- Experience in workers’ compensation defense
Responsibilities
- Attend hearings before the NJ Workers' Compensation Court
- Develop negotiation strategies and settle claims
