About The Position

Clausen Miller P.C. is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its New York litigation team and work closely with a Senior Partner on a diverse caseload involving casualty defense, premises liability, and environmental liability. This hands-on role offers opportunities to take depositions, make court appearances, and develop litigation skills within a collaborative, well-resourced team.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of litigation experience in casualty defense, premises liability, or environmental liability.
• Active New York bar admission is required.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-starting, with comfort working in a fast-paced litigation environment.

Nice To Haves

• New Jersey bar admission.

Responsibilities

• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery demands, and responses.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Manage discovery, including interrogatories and document review.
• Perform legal research and case analysis.
• Appear in New York courts as needed.
