About The Position

Heyl Royster is seeking highly motivated attorneys with 1-5 years of litigation experience to join our established team. The ideal candidate will have experience with drafting critical motions, developing written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and participating in court proceedings. The position provides opportunity to work on complex, multi‑party litigation and immediate opportunity for meaningful litigation experience. Candidates should possess the ability to work productively in team settings. This position will be based at our St. Louis office, which is located near the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the St. Louis City Courthouse, St. Louis University School of Law and Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinals. Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school required.
  • Active State of Missouri and/or Illinois Law license, in good standing.
  • 1-5 years' experience, preference for experience in civil litigation, workers compensation defense, and/or medical malpractice.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. Any job offer will be based on results of background check.
