Our Philadelphia, PA office is seeking a highly-motivated Associate Attorney with at least five years’ experience in the defense of civil litigation. Broad experience in Insurance Defense Litigation is a plus, as is experience in personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, employment, banking, mass tort, product liability and automobile/trucking cases. Must be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Additional state admissions are a plus. Requirements
- at least five years’ experience in the defense of civil litigation
- licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey

Responsibilities
- practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and state of New Jersey in state and federal courts
- manage multiple case files successfully in a busy environment
- demonstrate strong legal research and analytical skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- strong attention to detail with superb organization and prioritization skills
- ability to move from case to case
- knowledge of both state and federal court procedures
- draft, prepare and handle pleadings, motions, orders and legal memoranda
- draft and respond to written discovery
- draft various motions, including preliminary objections, discovery motions, and dispositive motions
- conduct legal research competently and with proficiency
- prepare and take depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
- review client documents, draft case evaluations and status report correspondence
- assist with and participate in arbitrations, mediations, court appearances, settlement conferences, and trial
- complete time entries for daily tasks in billing platform
