About The Position

The Gasper Law Group is seeking an Associate Attorney licensed to practice in Colorado to join its team. The firm handles Domestic Relations, Estate Planning, Probate Litigation and Administration, and Criminal Defense. The associate will develop their practice, take ownership of cases, and provide thoughtful, effective representation to clients. Training and support are provided, with the expectation that associates will ultimately manage cases independently from initial engagement through resolution. The position includes client intake meetings; attorneys are not expected to independently market for clients. The firm serves clients throughout Colorado, with a strong presence in the Pikes Peak region and surrounding communities.

Requirements

Active Colorado law license or imminent Colorado Bar admission.
Strong communication, organization, legal writing, and case management skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and support staff.

Prior practice and litigation experience; new attorneys are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Manage an assigned caseload in one or more practice areas.
Handle domestic relations matters, including divorce, custody, post-decree matters, adoptions, and related litigation.
Handle probate administration and litigation, estate planning, wills, and asset protection matters.
Handle criminal defense matters, including traffic cases, DUI/DUID, misdemeanors, and felonies.
Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
Represent clients in court, negotiations, mediation, and other proceedings.
Meet with prospective clients as part of the firm's intake process.
Develop a practice and ultimately manage cases independently from initial engagement through resolution.
