Newly Barred Associate Attorney, Workers' Compensation (Remote - California)
About The Position
Abramson Labor Group is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. This role is for newly barred attorneys or those who have taken the February 2026 Bar. Associates will report directly to an assigned Senior Associate and will be supported by a large team of paralegals and support staff. The position involves managing a docket of cases to resolution, handling depositions, responding to client inquiries, and providing direction to non-attorneys. The ideal candidate will bring positivity to the workplace, lead by example, participate in team events, and provide feedback to management.
Requirements
- Must be California State Barred
- Must reside in the state of California
- Comfortable with fast-paced work environments
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be in good standing with the California State Bar

Responsibilities
- Managing a docket of cases to resolution
- Preparing clients for depositions
- Attending depositions
- Invoicing Depositions
- Responding to client inquiries that require attorney negotiations and moving matters towards resolution
- Being responsive to incoming emails and phone calls
- Providing direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed
- Bringing positivity to the workplace and leading non-attorneys by example
- Participation in team events during work and after work hours
- Providing feedback to management to ensure ALG performs the best it can for our clients
