Kubicki Draper’s Miami office is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1+ years of insurance defense experience to join our growing team. Experience handling automobile first- and third-party defense matters and/or premises liability is highly preferred. Requirements

1+ years of insurance defense experience
Experience with first- and third-party automobile defense, property matters, and/or premises liability preferred
Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing
Excellent legal research, writing, communication, and analytical skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong commitment to providing exceptional client service
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and interested in long-term professional growth and advancement

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery
Attend and conduct hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings
Negotiate settlements and assist with the development and execution of case strategy
Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and team members
Manage cases and deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving litigation environment
Utilize Microsoft Word, Office, PowerPoint, and Excel proficiently
