Our new attorney will work with a growing team of 20 legal professionals and interact with clients, attorneys, judges, medical providers, and other legal professionals as needed.

Requirements

Active Bar License in Missouri and/or Kansas (both Missouri & Kansas preferred).
Minimum 3-5 years in legal practice, with a preference for personal injury law.
Experience in working directly with clients and insurance companies and resolving claims in the pre-litigation and/or litigation process.
Good with people and able to empathize with clients
Motivated, takes initiative and enjoys solving problems
Top tier organization and prioritization skills (a must-have)
Hunger to learn and grow in all aspects of being a personal injury attorney
Willing to take ownership and speak up to help us all improve everyday

Responsibilities

Developing case strategy and executing that strategy.
Interacting and negotiating with insurance companies.
Communicating with clients with empathy and openness about their cases.
Supervising paralegals and legal assistants ensuring tasks are completed in our case management system.
Review medical records and reports.
Supervise the settlement and lien reduction process.
Celebrate client victories.
