Requirements

  • Juris Doctrine (JD) from a law school
  • Admission to the Maryland state bar and in good standing, additional bar admissions a plus
  • No disciplinary action in the last 10 years.
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organization prowess.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a knack for achieving win-win outcomes.
  • Strong Windows and MS Windows and Office (including Word, Outlook, and Excel) experience required; knowledge of Adobe/Nuance Power PDF; being comfortable with new technologies/websites and should be an advanced technology/computer user.

Nice To Haves

  • Bankruptcy and Foreclosure experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

  • Document Review: Dive deep into legal documents, uncovering critical details that drive case strategies.
  • Document Preparation: Craft compelling legal documents, from pleadings to motions to correspondences that set the stage for success.
  • Court Hearings : Step into the courtroom and represent our clients with confidence and poise.
  • Client Interaction : Building strong relationships with clients, providing them with expert guidance and support.
  • Legal Research : Conduct in-depth legal research to stay ahead of the curve and ensure our clients’ interests are protected.
  • Case Management : Take charge of case files, ensuring meticulous organization and timely execution.
  • Settlement and Negotiations : Master the art of negotiation, securing favorable settlements that exceed client expectations.
