About The Position

Pérez Law is a workers' compensation and personal injury applicant firm serving injured workers across California, with offices in Ontario and Pomona. We're growing our attorney team and looking for an experienced litigator who wants real caseload ownership and comp that reflects results, not a firm that hands you a stack of files and disappears. Attorneys stay here for the full ownership of their caseload from intake through settlement, with case managers and legal assistants supporting the administrative side. They also benefit from a settlement incentive bonus structure that rewards outcomes directly and leadership opportunities, such as the chance to oversee and mentor junior attorneys and case managers.

Requirements

JD from an accredited law school.
Active member, California State Bar, in good standing.
2+ years of experience in California workers' compensation law.
Proficiency with MerusCase or similar case management software; comfort with Apple/Mac environments.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in hearings, trials, depositions, cross-examinations, and settlement negotiations.
Prepare and file legal documents; review medical/legal records to build strong cases.
Communicate directly with clients, insurers, and medical providers to advocate for client outcomes.
Oversee case management tasks performed by case managers and legal assistants.
Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations.
Maintain compliance with firm policy, ethical standards, and CA WC regulations.
