About The Position

Segal McCambridge, a nationally recognized litigation firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our General Liability Practice Group in our San Francisco office. This is a unique opportunity to gain meaningful litigation experience on high-stakes cases while working alongside nationally recognized trial attorneys. You will be part of a collaborative team handling sophisticated, high-stakes litigation for national and Fortune 500 clients. At Segal McCambridge, associates are not siloed or relegated to support roles. As a key member of our team, you’ll work on a wide variety of complex civil defense matters, including catastrophic injury, product liability, wrongful death, premises and habitability claims, and warranty and other high-exposure litigation. From day one, you’ll receive hands-on experience: drafting pleadings, arguing motions, conducting depositions, managing discovery, and appearing in court. You’ll be mentored by experienced partners and given room to grow in a supportive, high-performance environment. Requirements

• Active license to practice law in California
• At least 3 years of experience in civil defense litigation
• Strong skills in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy
• Experience drafting pleadings, handling discovery, and managing motion practice
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, ownership-driven approach
