Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed with The Florida Bar.
- 3+ years of family law litigation in Florida (trial experience preferred).
- Strong track record in legal writing, advocacy, and courtroom practice.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) and Google Products (Google Drive and Google Sheets).
- Reputation for integrity, professionalism, and client-centered service.
- Drive to be better and make your team better.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with client management software such as Clio is a plus.
- Trial experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage approximately 30-40 active family law cases from start to finish.
- Represent clients in hearings and mediations (3-5 per month on average).
- Collaborate with dedicated paralegals and mentor junior staff.
- Guide people through crises with skill, empathy, and courage.
- Advocate for clients in court and mediation with confidence and compassion.
- Own every stage of cases from pleadings and discovery to negotiations and trial prep with diligence and a solutions-driven focus.
- Draft clear, persuasive petitions, motions, and briefs with precision and attention to detail.
- Strategize with attorneys, mentor juniors, and coordinate with paralegals.
- Attend bar events, contribute to thought leadership, and help grow TK Law’s reputation.
- Model professionalism, empathy, resilience, and the drive to be 1% better each day.
