About The Position

Mandarich Law Group, a leading creditor's rights law firm with offices across multiple states, is seeking an Associate Attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Washington. The ideal candidate must reside in Washington for court appearances. This role involves a variety of responsibilities including court appearances, managing coverage requests, drafting litigation documents, preparing for trials and arbitrations, and communicating with various parties to resolve accounts. The position requires a high volume of work, necessitating strong multi-tasking and communication skills.

Requirements

Licensed in the State of Washington to practice law.
Must reside in the state of Washington.
Comfortable appearing in court.
Ability to appear on time consistently using your own method of transportation.
Multi-tasking and strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory for a high volume case load.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Additional licensing in other states (IA, MO, KS, IL, NY, NE, ID, CA, WA, AK, HI, NV) is welcomed.

Responsibilities

Prepare for, appear timely, and properly handle court appearances within reasonable travel distance.
Ensure timely and reliable arrival at courthouses.
Review and request coverage for court calls where the Associate will not appear, including attaching necessary documents and orders.
Draft, review, and file necessary motions during litigation.
Prepare for trials and arbitrations, which may include overnight stays in distant counties.
Communicate with consumers, consumer's employers, and consumer's attorneys to resolve accounts/suits.
