About The Position

Lippes Mathias is seeking a talented Associate to join their Banking and Financial Transactions Practice Group. This role involves handling a wide variety of sophisticated financial transactions with an emphasis on secured transactions, commercial real estate financing, mezzanine loans, and loan participation and syndications. The firm represents clients across the United States and Canada, including publicly traded companies and REITs, in transactions involving various property types. Requirements

A J.D. from an accredited law school.
Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility for admission).
3-5 years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and/or commercial leasing.
A client-service orientation and a desire to develop business over time.
A self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills who is comfortable managing multiple matters simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

Experience in acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and commercial leasing is a plus.
A portable book of business is a plus.
