About The Position

Morrison Mahoney LLP is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for attorneys with 5+ years of civil litigation experience handling the defense of Transportation matters. They provide a competitive salary range of $130,000-$185,000, commensurate with experience. To be considered, a qualified candidate will have the ability to manage cases from inception through resolution. This includes taking and defending depositions, preparing and filing dispositive motions, prior ADR experience handling arbitrations and mediations, and the ability to prepare comprehensive status reports for insurers.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
Admission to the New York State Bar
At least 5 years of experience handling the defense of Transportation, Construction Litigation, and Tort Liability
Ability to draft and argue dispositive motions
Ability to perform legal research
Ability to respond to discovery requests
