We are seeking Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorneys licensed in Kentucky to join our dynamic and growing practice across multiple office locations in the state. This full-time position is a strong opportunity for attorneys with 1–10 years of experience who are looking to handle diverse workers’ compensation matters and grow in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Admitted to practice law in the State of Kentucky and in good standing.
Strong research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.
Excellent case organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

1–10 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation defense litigation preferred.
Attorneys with litigation experience and a strong desire to transition into Workers’ Compensation will also be considered.

Responsibilities

Analyzing and summarizing medical records and case files to formulate effective case strategies.
Drafting and arguing motions, attending hearings, and representing clients in court proceedings.
Preparing clients for and attending depositions of fact and expert witnesses.
Preparing initial, interim, and pre-trial reports; maintaining open communication with clients throughout the case lifecycle.
Responding to discovery requests, drafting discovery-related motions, and ensuring full compliance with procedural rules.
Building strong relationships with clients, managing expectations, and advising on case risks, strategy, and resolution paths.
