About The Position

Burnham Law is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with 0-3 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, team player, and strong communicator with experience in legal research, case strategy, litigation, client representation, and courtroom advocacy. They are comfortable managing a full caseload, working collaboratively, and delivering high-quality service to clients while upholding firm values and ethical standards. Requirements

  • 0 - 3 years of experience practicing law, with a strong background in Civil Litigation
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Colorado Bar
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to produce thoughtful and persuasive legal documents
  • Courtroom and advocacy experience, with confidence in representing clients in various legal settings
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with attorneys and staff while also taking initiative and ownership over your work
  • Familiarity with Mac/Apple products, legal practice management software, CCEF, Google Suite, Adobe, and Microsoft applications

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, ethical, and compassionate legal representation to clients
  • Conduct in-depth research and apply findings strategically to support client matters
  • Advocate on behalf of clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings
  • Collaborate with colleagues, including senior attorneys and support staff, to ensure comprehensive client service and continuous development
  • Manage deadlines and tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism
  • Participate in internal meetings, case reviews, and firm development initiatives as appropriate
