About The Position

New Mexico State Athletics is home to 16 intercollegiate teams – and to some of the most dynamic sports squads in the nation. We look forward to you joining our team! This position provides physical therapy and assists in the prevention, care, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. It also provides trainer coverage of athletic activities, organizes orthopedic clinics, advises on prevention and care of athletic injuries, and team-teaches athletic training classes. The Associate Athletic Trainer supervises student trainers.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree + 7 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 5 years of relevant experience.
  • BOC National Certification
  • Eligible for NM Athletic Training License
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications
