Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record
  • 2-4 years of experience in reading/analyzing documentation of CLO or ABS securitizations, warehouse, and asset-backed financing; experience in multiple asset classes a plus
  • Ability to review and analyze monthly servicing reports/ performance reports
  • Strong capabilities in MS Excel and PowerPoint and Intex; Bloomberg experience a plus
  • Proactive self-starter with high attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and motivation
  • Excellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge or familiarity with insurance investment management a plus

Responsibilities

  • Partner with deal teams to transition investments post-closing and define KPIs
  • Track KPIs and monitor performance across the asset-based finance portfolio, assessing returns, risks, and concentrations on an ongoing basis
  • Analyze collateral and structural profile as well as market trends to identify emerging risks and escalate potential issues to the deal team and investment leadership
  • Maintain investment watchlists and work with Risk team to ensure accurate internal risk designations
  • Maintain transaction-level cash flow models upon handoff from deal team, including working with consultants to implement deal models in Intex post-closing
  • Roll forward cash flow projections and Intex models
  • Validate model outputs against legal documentation and trustee reports
  • Ensure model outputs are accurately reflected in Brookfield’s internal analytics systems
  • Ensure timely receipt and completeness of various reporting requirements from borrowers and originators
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with trustees, servicers, and third parties to ensure data accuracy and transparency
  • Coordinate with Trustee and Operations team to ensure timely production of monthly and waterfall reports.
  • Validate waterfall reports and ensure alignment with deal documents
  • Coordinate quarterly valuation processes with third-party providers
  • Support internal and external audits and respond to valuation-related inquiries
  • Ensure consistency across investment, accounting, and reporting systems
