About The Position

The Associate Assembler at GE Aerospace in Clearwater performs electronic and electro-mechanical production assembly of modules, boards, panels, frames and cables, following established procedures while using hand tools and computer-generated barcodes/labels. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of one year of related industry experience, ability to read technical work instructions and use a PC, and the physical ability to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 35 lbs.; work may involve hazardous materials and overtime as required. Requirements

Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions which may be technical in nature.
Proficient in the use of a personal computer to navigate on-line documents, drawings, and instructions.
Minimum of 1-year previous industry or similarly related job experience.
Ability to frequently lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 35 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
May be required to work with hazardous materials.
High School diploma or GED
This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.
