About The Position
This role focuses on IBM Mainframe Migration Specialist PD Tools. The ideal candidate will possess strong migration skills, including knowledge of conversion processes for various products, and detailed understanding of IBM and ISV languages. Experience with specific tools like IBM File Manager, FastRexx, BMC FileAid, CA Broadcom File Master, CA Broadcom PDSMAN, and Macro4 InSync is essential. Rexx skills are also required for potential coding changes to migration tools. The position involves installation and deployment, requiring an understanding of customer requirements, detailed knowledge of IBM product installation and best practices, and strong customer interfacing skills. Problem determination skills related to IBM products and z/OS knowledge are crucial. Experience in system programming, understanding product functionality, and converting ISV products to IBM products is necessary. Familiarity with DB2 and IMS administration is also required. Location preference includes US, Canada, UK, and India.
