About The Position

The Associate Analyst plays a critical role within the Fee Management Team, supporting the accurate and timely processing of included fees to advisors and end clients across multiple affiliation models. This role supports the fees that are processed through the Fee Management System (FMS), with a focus on full straight through processing for charging events and support daily processing for updates. This role is responsible for handling complex and escalated FMS inquiries, leading operational and process improvement initiatives, and serving as a subject matter expert (SME) for FMS workflows. The Analyst partners closely with internal stakeholders to research, resolve, and prevent compensation issues while enhancing the overall advisor experience. The role reports directly to the VP of Operations leading FMS development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, banking, accounting, or operations
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow defined procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Analytical Thinking, Problem Solving & Decision making
  • Communication and interpersonal skills with service-oriented mindset
  • Adaptability & Resilience to manage risk and apply controls effectively
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and project deliverables
  • Collaborative and proactive approach with experience handling escalations

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of FMS integration with LPL systems and processes. to serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for FMS
  • Research, investigate, and resolve complex and escalated FMS inquiries
  • Coordinate workflow to support scheduled charging events
  • Support the daily runs that feed into secondary systems
  • Responsible to support the Reconciliation and Accrual of the FMS system
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify root causes, mitigate risk and prevent recurring issues
  • Process accommodations, corrections, and reporting as required.
  • Support UAT testing for future system development
  • Support and lead department and firm-wide projects
  • Identify trends, process gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Share insights and recommendations with leadership
  • Provide training and procedural guidance
  • Participate in discovery for future enhancements
