About The Position

The Associate Analyst provides fee processing, problem-solving, reporting, and training support to the Advisory Operations team. This role works closely annuity carriers to complete fee processing and next steps. The Associate Analyst will need to have a foundational level of knowledge of all team processes and how the various independent processes fit in the overall billing process to document and maintain processes and procedures.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in the brokerage, accounting, or financial services industry
• 1-2 years of experience using Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUPs and PivotTables
• 1-2 years of experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Complete tasks carefully and consistently, maintaining exceptional accuracy
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Strong customer service skills
• Adapt approach, goals and methods to achieve solutions and results in dynamic situations

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• FBVA Direct Debit Fee processing
• Coordination with the annuity carriers and other internal departments for processing and payouts
• Meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Handle escalated items in a timely and accurate manner
• Research and resolve FBVA Direct Debit fee inquiries and issues
• Identify processes for improved efficiency and accuracy
• Updating/maintaining accurate policy and procedure documents
