About The Position

The Advisory Services Analyst will create and deliver high quality system solutions for our applications, products and services across all technology functions. They consult with users and technology specialists to define business processes and the information systems for supporting those processes. Individuals in these roles may perform analysis and also serve as business liaisons to understand and refine business requirements. They provide technical support in developing systems that are cost effective and meet users' requirements. This function works to create systems that work together in a cohesive manner, enforcing standards and methods consistently across the enterprise. Roles may support both current system improvements and maintenance along with new system development. You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute as you take on some tough challenges.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in technical administration or day-to-day support of digital imaging information systems (e.g., PACS, RIS, DICOM, VNA)
  • 2+ years of experience supporting clinical departmental operations in imaging disciplines such as Radiology, Cardiology, Surgery, or Endoscopy
  • 1+ years of demonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical system issues independently with minimal oversight
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, or implementing automated tools, scripts, or software solutions to improve operational processes
  • Customer Service Skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience evaluating and implementing emerging diagnostic imaging technologies or clinical workflow tools
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, DICOM) and health data privacy regulations
  • Strong cross-functional project execution and communication skills across technical and clinical teams
  • Experience building and optimizing enterprise software platforms or automated solutions

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the technical administration of digital imaging information systems and technologies and the day-to-day support of users of these systems and technologies
  • Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of imaging (Radiology, Cardiology, Surgery, Endoscopy, etc.) technologies and the departmental operations that utilize them
  • Participates in imaging information system and technology projects
  • Provides a track record of superior technical problem identification and resolution abilities and will execute resolution steps with minimal oversight
  • Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements
  • Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems
  • Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
  • Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
  • Translates concepts into practice
  • Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues
  • Acts as a resource for others with less experience
  • Provides day-to-day technical support of digital imaging information systems and technologies and customer support of the users of these systems and technologies with moderate oversight
  • Performs complex system administrative functions (e.g., system table build functions, patient and exam merges, configure routing of imaging studies, system performance monitoring, storage queue management, etc.)
  • Identifies problem and/or opportunity for improvement, develops documentation and communicates new procedures and processes that contribute to the optimal use of digital imaging information systems and technologies
  • Provides after-hours on-call support for the immediate resolution of critical/emergency system issues with appropriate supporting protocol in place
  • Travels between hospital facilities, its subsidiaries and affiliates, offices, vendor locations and other sites as required
