About The Position

This is a ground-floor opportunity on a new AI team, offering a path to building AI solutions at an enterprise scale. You will develop practical tools used daily by individuals across a $6 billion business, with direct visibility to senior leadership and unlimited growth potential. The Associate role is a starting point, not a tenure track; advancement is earned through successful project delivery and the development of enterprise judgment, rather than tenure. You will build AI-powered tools and automations in collaboration with the business users who will utilize them. Key aspects include owning the quality of your work, adhering to enterprise standards for architecture, security, and design, partnering with floor teams to identify pain points, contributing to the ROI justification for projects, and rapidly shipping and iterating based on feedback. Immediate contribution is expected, with building commencing in the first week.

Requirements

• Have built working software with modern AI tools and can show it. Projects and portfolio matter more than years.
• Technically self-sufficient on fundamentals. You solve problems independently rather than escalating them.
• Technical foundation in computer science or equivalent.
• Exposure to LLMs, agents, retrieval systems, or data and SQL.
• Awareness of security fundamentals and the judgment to ask before doing something risky with data or access.
• Design instinct. You care whether the thing you built is actually usable.
• Self-starting and relentlessly curious. You learn unprompted and bring ideas forward.
• Curiosity about the business and how the work actually gets done.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered tools and automations alongside the business users who will use them.
• Own the quality of what you build, including usability and documentation.

• Partner directly with floor teams to find real pain points.
• Contribute to the ROI case for your work and learn what makes a build worth doing.
• Ship quickly and iterate on real feedback.
