About The Position

Rodgers & Associates, a Registered Investment Advisor, is a fee-only independent wealth management firm. We provide financial planning and investment management services to retired or about-to-retire individuals. We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, hardworking individual to join our team and deliver comprehensive financial planning services to new and existing clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Commitment to begin the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® coursework and ability to obtain the designation within 2 years.
• Must have a basic understanding of investment planning, including asset allocation, Monte Carlo simulation, and modern portfolio theory.
• Powerful organizational and time management skills.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and communication skills
• Detailed oriented
• Faster learner

Nice To Haves

• Computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, are Preferred
• CFP® coursework already started or completed. Preferred
• Previous experience in financial services. Preferred
• Advanced Excel abilities. Preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist Financial Advisors in preparing for client review meetings.
• Prepare financial plans for retirement projections.
• Prepare income tax projections.
• Collaborate with financial advisors to review portfolio allocations and investments.
• Implement financial plan recommendations.
• Maintain client records and actions to be completed in the CRM system.
• Provide a high level of service while interacting with existing and potential clients.
