About The Position

The associate administrator for the Department of Medicine will partner with Dr. Elie Berbari, DOM chair, and the multidisciplinary leadership team to provide leadership across 10 clinical divisions and advance transformation, innovation and growth in collaboration with physician and multidisciplinary leaders as Mayo Clinic transforms healthcare in alignment with its Bold. Forward. strategic plan. The associate administrator reports to the chief administrative officer of Mayo Clinic in Rochester and participates in planning and implementation of the strategic and operational goals and objectives of the practice. The person in this role is accountable for providing guidance, leadership development and administrative support to their teams and committees, and is a servant leader who partners with physician, nursing and other multidisciplinary leaders to oversee all aspects of Department of Medicine operations. The associate administrator is responsible for planning, business objectives and fiscal management to achieve top decile quality and service performance. In collaboration with physician and administrative leaders throughout Mayo Clinic, the person in this position will enhance relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure the successful implementation of strategic initiatives in alignment with Mayo Clinic’s mission and values.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration or comparable discipline.
