About The Position

Faropoint is a pure play RE fund manager focusing on the last mile industrial sector. Established in 2012, it has acquired more than 500 warehouses to date, making it the most active aggregator of warehouses in the US in the past five years. Their platform is built to harness the sector’s fragmentation, operating through 7 regional offices with 120+ employees in vertically integrated teams enhanced by proprietary AI-driven tools, while benefiting from compelling fundamentals like constrained supply growth, reshoring, and e-commerce tailwinds. The Acquisitions Associate will play a key role in driving Faropoint's acquisition process across Florida markets. This position is responsible for deal sourcing and broker relationship management, underwriting, due diligence coordination, market research, and financial analysis, and will actively support the full investment lifecycle from initial opportunity identification through Investment Committee approval.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, commercial real estate, or a related institutional role.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for research, analysis, and workflow automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with brokers, owners, and market participants to generate on-market and off-market acquisition opportunities across Florida markets.
  • Track and manage an active deal pipeline across multiple markets and strategies, ensuring disciplined follow-up, prioritization, and reporting on deal flow activity.
  • Perform detailed underwriting of potential acquisition opportunities, including cash flow modeling, return analysis, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Coordinate and manage the due diligence process on prospective acquisitions, including site visits, review of legal documents, and management of third-party consultants (environmental, engineering, title, legal).
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics across Florida's industrial commercial real estate sectors.
  • Prepare detailed investment memos and supporting materials for senior leadership and Investment Committee presentations, and assist in managing IC timelines, Q&A, and approval workflows.
  • Work closely with asset management, lenders, outside counsel, and third-party consultants to ensure seamless execution of acquisition strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on pipeline activity, market conditions, and financial performance for senior management.
